Technical Issues and Repairs

 

***For SCHOOL OWNED CHROMEBOOKS, please power completely off, wait 30 seconds, and restart to see if your issue is resolved before calling. You may also want to manually update the Chromebook following these steps:

1. Sign in to student’s account. 

  1. 2. Open Google

3. Click the three verticle lines in the upper right corner under the “X”.

4. Click “Settings”

5. Click “About Chrome” at the bottom of the lefthand column.

6. Click “Check for updates”

If you are having trouble with your home internet being unreliable, please consider the following solutions:
1. Try connecting an ethernet cable to your chromebook to access the internet directly. You may need to purchase a USB TO ETHERNET ADAPTER (approx. $10 on Amazon) depending on your device. 
2. OPSB offers parking lot hotspot access at the following schools:
