My father was in the Air Force, so I moved every 2-4 years. I graduated high school from Douglas High School in Box Elder, S.D. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, La. Currently, I am attending ULM for my Librarian certification.

I am married, and we have four children. 

In our spare time, we love working with our animals. We have 30 head of cattle and 6 sows. We raise Angus calves, show pigs and meat hogs. We also love to travel.
